FAQ

Why does Wander Walls request camera access?

Camera access is needed for AR gameplay. The camera feed is used by iOS and AR frameworks to understand device motion and place game content in front of you.

Does Wander Walls upload camera footage or AR placement data?

No. Wander Walls is designed as a local-first game. We do not operate a server that receives your camera feed, gameplay images, or AR scene placement data.

What happens if I deny camera access?

AR gameplay may not work. You may need to enable camera permission in iOS Settings to play.

How are paid packs handled?

Paid packs are purchased, verified, and restored through Apple StoreKit and your Apple ID. Wander Walls does not directly process payment card information.

Can purchases be restored?

Yes. Use Restore Purchases in the app. Restore behavior depends on your Apple account, App Store services, and purchase eligibility.

1. Where your data is processed

Wander Walls is a local-first app. Gameplay progress, selected pack, completed scenes, star ratings, target counts, onboarding state, and app settings are stored on your device using local app storage. We do not upload this gameplay data to our own servers.

4. Children and family use

Wander Walls may appeal to families and children, but the app is intended for use with appropriate parent or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the request.

5. Camera use and private spaces

Because AR gameplay uses the device camera, you should avoid pointing the camera at sensitive documents, private screens, personal records, or other information you do not want visible on your device. Wander Walls does not intentionally collect or upload camera images, but you are responsible for choosing safe and appropriate play spaces.

6. Data retention and deletion

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you reset it in the app if available, clear related app data through iOS behavior, or delete the app. Deleting the app removes local app data from that device, subject to Apple backup and restore behavior. Purchase records are managed by Apple and may remain associated with your Apple ID according to Apple policies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we control. Because Wander Walls does not operate an account system or upload gameplay data to our servers, many requests may relate only to information you provide when contacting support. Contact us using the address above and include enough information for us to process and verify your request.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a local-first mobile game, but no method of storage, transmission, or processing is guaranteed to be 100% secure. Device security, passcodes, operating system updates, and Apple account protections are important parts of protecting your data.

9. Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the effective date above.
